5 Things To Focus On To Kickstart Your Season!

Your season is underway and you'd like to take advantage of that great tryout and kick the start of your season into high gear! Here are 5 things to focus on to Kickstart your Season!

 

1-Prepare like a Pro

 

In order to be at your best you need to prepare the best.  That means 100% detail, work and focus in practices, perfect practice make perfect games.

 

2- Hang with your Linemates

 

It's a TEAM within a TEAM.  Spend time with these guys/gals, it will help you have that extra oumph when battling for them, extra commitment to get the job done and plus there is tons of stuff you can learn about them to get to know their tendencies as a player.

 

3- Understand your Coach's Expectations and Systems

 

You always want to under promise and over deliver.  Ensure you know what the coach needs out of your game and be detailed when it comes to the structure he wants you to play.   Do this and see your minutes SOAR!

 

4- Fuel your Body

 

Your body needs Fuel to perform as it's best. Ensure you are getting the right nutritional mix at the right time to have plenty in the tank come game time!

 

5- Rest

 

The start of the season is busy.  Schools back in full swing, back on the ice 4-5 days a week and tournaments are gearing up.  You gotta bring it everyday at school and every time your on the ice but that taxes the body and the nervous system so you need to down regulate and ensure you get plenty of sleep to stay Fresh and ready to Compete!
