Shawn Allard

Shawn Allard is a former professional hockey player and is the world’s
most sought-after movement and performance coach for NHL athletes. He
is the creator of Perfect Skating™, an on-ice movement, skill and
performance methodology for hockey players and the Perfect Skating
Franchise System™, which inspires passionate entrepreneurs the
opportunity to bring the PS method to their communities making a lasting
difference in the athletes they serve.

A former European elite league head coach and NHL skating and skills
coach with the Nashville Predators, Shawn has pioneered the
NHL movement, skill, and performance industry. In 2014, based on the
worldwide demand for his services, Shawn launched Perfect Skating’s
professional services division and became an independent NHL movement
and performance consultant allowing the opportunity to service multiple
NHL teams and players. In 2018, Shawn was blessed to accept an offer to
become the first ever Skills Coach of the Colorado Avalanche, helping
them win the Stanley Cup in 2022.

Today, Shawn is grateful to have consulted over 10 NHL organizations and
has trained +350 NHL players using the Perfect Skating
Methodology. Currently, Shawn is enjoying leading Perfect Skating’s
strategic vision while directing PS professional services and PS
franchising. He is also very passionate about his family and is enjoying
travelling with this wife Andrea to support their son Sutton’s PS coaching
career, son Tristan who plays for the Syracuse Crunch in the AHL, son
Owen who plays for the Soo Greyhounds of the OHL and daughter Ashley
who is a freshman hockey athlete at the University of Connecticut.
